Your registration is binding and, once payment has been made, constitutes an agreement between you and us. If paying by invoice, the registration fee must be paid within the payment period stated on the invoice in order for your place to be guaranteed. Your race entry is personal and may not be transferred to another person or used by anyone else to participate in your name. Any cancellation must be made no later than two months before the race. The registration fee will only be refunded upon submission of a valid medical certificate before this date. Your race entry cannot be deferred to a future year.

All of our races have a maximum permitted completion time. We reserve the right to withdraw you from the race before you reach the finish line if you are not within the specified time limit.

Once payment has been completed, you will receive confirmation of your registration/order at the email address you provided. If any information in your confirmation is incorrect, please contact us at hello@hbgm.se.

Participation in our events is at your own responsibility and risk, which you acknowledge by accepting these Terms and Conditions. We are not liable for any injury, damage or loss that may occur in connection with your participation in the race, including damage to or loss of technical equipment or clothing.

The registration fee will not be refunded if the race is cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a decision by a public authority that cancellation is necessary for the safety or health of you or other participants, fire, flooding, strikes or other similar circumstances. In such cases, we are not liable to pay damages or any other compensation.

By registering, you consent to the publication of your name, race times and club/company on websites and social media. This also includes photographs and videos taken during the event in which you may appear. You also consent to Helsingborg Marathon using such photographs and videos for marketing purposes, on social media, online and, where applicable, in newspapers, without any right to compensation.

You also agree that we may store and process your personal data in accordance with the guidelines and information set out in our Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

Helsingborg Marathon reserves the right to cancel an event, alter the course or make changes to factors such as the date, start time and/or other conditions and circumstances relating to Helsingborg Marathon races and events.

If Helsingborg Marathon is required to cancel an event, you are entitled to a refund of your registration fee in accordance with the terms set out below. The amount refunded will depend on when the cancellation takes place:

If Helsingborg Marathon cancels the event more than 120 days before the scheduled race date, you are entitled to a 100% refund of your registration fee.

If Helsingborg Marathon cancels the event 61–120 days before the scheduled race date, you are entitled to a 50% refund of your registration fee.

If Helsingborg Marathon cancels the event 30–60 days before the scheduled race date, you are entitled to a 25% refund of your registration fee.

If Helsingborg Marathon cancels the event less than 30 days before the scheduled race date, you are entitled to a 10% refund of your registration fee. Alternatively, you will be given the option to transfer your race entry to the next edition of Helsingborg Marathon.

We also reserve the right to correct any printing or typographical errors and accept no liability for events or race entries that are sold out.
