And now you’re here — at Sundstorget, in the heart of Helsingborg — ready to run through a city by the sea. You’ll feel the pulse of the crowd, the power of the water, and the sense of freedom with every new kilometer. And when you reach the seafront toward the end, a magical finish awaits, with Øresund shimmering beside our iconic finish line.

Start Groups

Helsingborg Marathon has one start group.
HOKA Helsingborg Half Marathon has two start groups, and you can find your start group on your bib number.
Lydinge Resort Stafett 21 km startar 09:45 och Lydinge Resort Stafett 42 km startar 10:30.

Bag Drop

You can leave your bag at the bag drop located in the finish area, approximately 700 meters north of the start. Attach the sticker with your race number that you received together with your bib before handing in your bag.

Toilets

There are plenty of toilets at the start area so you don’t risk missing the start. You’ll also find toilets at the finish area near the bag drop, as well as along the route toward the start.

Once you’ve filled your hands (and maybe your pockets) with everything you’re craving, take a seat on the wooden deck, sink into one of our comfortable sun loungers, and let your gaze drift out over Øresund. There, in the sunshine and the buzz of thousands of happy runners, you can truly take in what you’ve just accomplished.

THIS YEAR’S RACE GUIDE

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Race Day and this year’s Helsingborg Marathon, HOKA Helsingborg Half Marathon and Lydinge Resort Relay.

Before the race…

Here are a few things that are good to keep in mind before the race.

  • Are you unable to start due to injury or illness? You can transfer your entry up until August 24.
  • Have you received your start certificate? It will be sent to the email address you used when registering about seven days before this year’s race. If you haven’t received it, please email us at hello@hbgm.se.
  • Have you entered the correct expected finish time? If not, please contact us at hello@hbgm.se and we will help you.
  • Pick up your race bib and start kit at Dunkers Kulturhus.
  • Plan how you will get to the start. In our FAQ you’ll find tips on parking and transportation.
  • Choose the right shoes and clothing – now it’s time. If you need to do some last-minute shopping, you get 20% off at Löplabbet’s physical stores.

Before & during the race…

Here are a few useful things to keep in mind from just before the start to the finish line.

  • Drop off your bag at the bag drop located in the finish area, approximately 700 meters north of the start.
  • Don’t forget to attach your bib number to your chest. It must not be folded and needs to be clearly visible for the timing to work and for your photos to be linked to you.
  • Arrive at the start in good time so you have time to go to the toilet, tie your shoes properly and simply enjoy the atmosphere in the start area.
  • Make your final preparations and don’t forget to warm up a little.
  • Take your place in the start corral and find your expected finish time or the correct pacer group.
  • When the race starts, just enjoy it — this is your day!
  • Don’t forget to refuel with fluids and energy at all our hydration and energy stations.
  • Enjoy every step, every meter, all the way to the finish line at Gröningen!

After the race…

Now it’s time to celebrate and simply enjoy your achievement, a dip in the Øresund and plenty of treats from our partners.

  • Raise your hands to the sky and receive your medal around your neck!
  • Don’t stop immediately after crossing the finish line — keep walking for a bit to help your body recover.
  • Help yourself to all the fantastic treats our partners have to offer.
  • Take a seat on the wooden deck or on the grass and simply enjoy your amazing achievement!
  • Take a dip in Øresund or enjoy a cold bath and sauna at Kallis or Pålsjöbaden.
  • Don’t forget to take a great photo with the beautiful Øresund as your backdrop.
  • Head out to Gröningen and celebrate your race with your friends and family. Take the opportunity to enjoy something good to eat and chat with all our partners.
