The work of My Special Day provides vital joy, hope, and strength – a day to carry with them for a long time.

Together with you, our runners and ambassadors, we want to use the power of running for something greater than just kilometres and finish times. When you register for Helsingborg Marathon, HOKA Helsingborg Half Marathon, or HBGM Relay, you have the opportunity to donate a voluntary amount to My Special Day. You can also make a donation directly via our website. Every contribution, big or small, helps create magical moments for children who need them the most.

About My Special Day

My Special Day is a nationwide foundation dedicated to fulfilling wishes and creating vital joy for children and young people living with serious illnesses and diagnoses. Through what are known as Special Days, children aged 4 to 17 are given an unforgettable experience to look forward to – a day that provides strength, hope, and memories far beyond the challenges of everyday treatments and hospital visits.

Founded in 2000, My Special Day has since created special experiences for thousands of children – ranging from individually tailored dream days to group activities and family experiences. The organisation works closely with children’s hospitals and healthcare professionals across Sweden to reach children in need of rest, joy, and renewed energy.

Donations to My Special Day are used to make these experiences possible. Funds raised go towards the planning, coordination, and adaptation of Special Days, as well as reaching more children through collaborations with healthcare providers throughout Sweden. My Special Day is a non-profit foundation, and all contributions are used to create joy, hope, and vital energy for children who need it most.
