Course information HOKA Helsingborg Half Marathon

The start of the half marathon race takes place in connection with the start of the marathon and relay outside Dunkers Culture House. The route’s unique stretch includes three kilometers through our historic and beautiful city center. You will experience historic neighborhoods and Stortorget, the medieval castle Kärnan, the Pålsjö forest nature reserve, and Laröd. The half marathon route shares the first and last 17 kilometers with the marathon, with a finish along the sea where you run under a beautiful flag display towards the finish line at beautiful Gröningen. You celebrate your effort out on the pier facing the Öresund and then move into our event area with activities for families, relatives, and supporters. The route has around 170 meters of elevation gain with an incline towards Kärnan after 2 kilometers and a long downhill stretch towards the sea after 19 kilometers. It includes everything from city, forest, and sea and has varied terrain, mostly asphalt.

The idea of a Half Marathon has been a dream far away. But not anymore, in 2018 the HOKA Helsingborg Half Marathon had its premiere.
